The Eyes of the Lord are on You
"The eyes of the Lord are on those who love him; He is their mighty shield and strong support,/ A shelter from the heat,/ a shade from the noonday sun, a guard against stumbling and falling./ He lifts up spirits, brings sparkle to the eyes,/ gives health and life and blessing." Sirach 34:16-20
That just about covers everything that the Lord is to us. We are headed up north to celebrate my husband's aunt's 50th year of being a nun. Amazing! May my life be a prayer to You, Lord, in a just a smidgeon of the way hers has been to you. Thank you protecting me, sheltering me, lifting up my spirits, and for all the blessings you have given me......In Jesus' sweet name, Amen.
