Returning to God When Distracted Joel 2:12-13

Recently I have been distracted with life coaching training and homework and have spent less time focusing on God.  I definitely have felt convicted about this and missed my time with Him.  I know that when I turn towards Him, I experience a feeling of peace and "going in the right direction."  Today's reading really spoke to me:

"Even now," says the Lord, "return to me with your whole heart, for I am gracious and merciful."  Joel 2:12-13

How wonderful it is to know that even when we turn away from the Lord, He is waiting patiently for us to turn back to Him with our whole heart.  He will give us His grace and mercy no matter how long we have been away.  God is good!
