Facing Challenges? Looking forward

I have a few friends who are going through some challenges right now and working towards changing their lives completely with separations, divorces, new work and school and projects.  This verse is taped to my bathroom mirror and I had nearly forgotten about it.  As I am going through some challenges myself, it popped into my head again and I thought I would share it.  May you be lifted up by its encouraging words:

Forget the former things
Do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
I am making a pathway through the wilderness (desert)
and streams in the dry wasteland.  Isaiah 43:18-19
