Drawing Near to God, James 4:8
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. James 4:8
Whether this verse says "Draw near or come near" to God, I love it! Turn to the Lord when you need help, comfort, uplifting, peace or just companionship. As you do, He will get closer and closer to you. You will feel it. Does it get any better than that? The trick is to turn to Him, rely on Him, and trust Him. That, my friends, is not always easy......Take time to talk to Him or be quiet with Him. He loves your company!!
